Industry ke achche din sach me aa gaye, as Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan continues to collect massive moolah with every passing day. The film is staying consistent in a major way, what with Tuesday being super-strong as well. With over 20 crores coming in, the film has now crossed 150 crores at the Box Office, and that too in a mere 5 days.
Unbelievable, but true.
In the process, it has left behind the lifetime total of quite a few biggies. Records of Salman’s own films like Bodyguard (149 crore) and Dabangg (140 crore) are stories of the past while Dabangg 2 (155 crore) would be surpassed by this afternoon.
Meanwhile, biggies like Rowdy Rathore (133 crore) and Singham Returns (140 crore) have been left behind too, while Tanu Weds Manu Returns, the biggest success of the year so far (152 crore), has almost come down to the second position.
Incidentally, Tanu Weds Manu Returns is also an Eros production, and now the filmmaking house as two in the 150 crore club already with Bajrangi Bhaijaan smashing anything and everything coming in its way.
