Join UsThe Bollywood business is on an incessant boom but there are still a few films which have been running in heavy losses. Amongst the newer joiners on Koimoi’s List of the year’s biggest flops ranks the recent releases Rajjo and Satya 2.
The expectations from both were rather modest. Satya 2 despite being a sequel of Ram Gopal Varma’s most celebrated film suffered a massive beating at the box office. Made on a budget of 15 crores, the film earned only 2 crores at the box office hence suffering a monetary loss of 13 crores.
Rajjo was made on a lower budget of 12 crores. The film that earned 2 crores at the domestic box office bore a loss of 10 crores on the venture.
With that both films now rank amongst the year’s gravest flops in terms of value earned from the venture.
