Join UsSalman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo became his second film of the year to make it to the 200 crore club. The film has already become the second highest grosser of the year. On it’s third weekend, the film collected 3.10 crores. It now stands with a total collection of 206.63 crores at the domestic box office.
The Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Tamasha released this week and was the only competition to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Since Tamasha took a good opening and also showed a decent growth over the weekend, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo certainly lost out on it’s college going audience, which was more keen to watch the new release.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is Salman’s ninth consecutive film to enter the 100 crore club. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film also stars Sonam Kapoor and Anupam Kher in key roles.
