After taking an opening day of 21 crore, Dilwale stayed on the same lines on Saturday as well. With 20.09 crore more coming in, the film now stands at 41.09 crore.

On a regular release, the film with credentials as huge as Dilwale would have collected a lot more on the second day. However, the clash with Bajirao Mastani is keeping these numbers in check, as a result of which it would now boil down to the footfalls that would come in days to follow.

Dilwale is set to be one of those rare films where the overall verdict would be decided after a three week, and not a three day run. While majority of blockbusters in the recent times have had the maximum moolah coming in the opening weekend, that is not going to be the case for the Shahrukh Khan and Rohit Shetty film since there are two solid weekends ahead, which are expect to escalate the collections.

As a matter of fact, with the big holiday of Christmas ahead, it is expected that the film would witness a good pump in collections on that day. Dilwale needs that as well to score big.

Note: All collections as per production and distributor sources
