Join UsS S Rajamouli’s Bahubali managed to shock us with its performance at the box office. The film starring Prabhas, Rana Dagubatti, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles made the highest collection on its opening day by putting up a smashing 50 crores (including all languages). What is even more amusing is that the film kept up its stride with a slight drop on Saturday as it collected 48 crores.
The film saw a huge jump on the third day as it collected a whopping 55 crores. Bahubali‘s weekend figures shot up to 153 crores gross which means, it has surpassed the collections of the Happy New Year which had made one of the fastest 100 crore gross collections. Shah Rukh’s Happy New Year, including all formats had fetched 108 crores over the opening weekend.
