Trade estimates had predicted that the film had a good chance of surpassing the red letter 100 crore mark by now. However, Boss’ illuminated fate was dampened when the film suffered a severe beating due to the ongoing cricket series. Though it began its 1st day with confidence, the film’s good spell at the box office ran dry soon enough which resulted in it struggling to reach even the bare minimum 50 crore mark.
