This social commentary revolves around the friendship of two children that beautifully captures innocence of pure unadulterated love and will take you down the memory lane of your childhood days of fun and friendship. This movie also asks questions that need to be answered – who is to be blamed when society lets down our little ones? The individual or the system? Where did parent teacher trust vanish? Why don’t we nurture our children’s innocence?

ABOUT HAAMI

Haami is a story of two school friends, Bhutu and Chini, who come from completely different background. Bhutu’s parents, Laltu and Mitali are rich furniture-shop owners who are more into popular culture and Chini’s parents, Srinjoy and Rina are academicians – elite and sophisticated. Inspite these differences Bhutu and Chini are best friends. As luck would have it, a situation occurs, where the parents of these two children separate them and put an end to their friendship.

However, the young vice-principal cum student counsellor of their school, Arundhati tries to make them see reason, but will she succeed? Will the adults accept the playful innocence of the children?

A story that will take you down the memory lane of your childhood days of fun and friendship, Haami is releasing in 18th May 2018.
