Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! is a romantic comedy from the house of Dharma. That is reason enough for the film’s music to have substantial expectations from it. The film’s music album, that has a good amount of the expected grandeur in it, can easily be termed as one of the year’s most sprightly and delightful albums. Tightly knotted and crisply created, the songs for most part do their best to cast a beguiling spell. Vishal-Shekhar duo have been known for their winning work always, despite the music of Chennai Express being excessively genius but with GTPM the men reprise their perfectionism.

Tooh – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! Music Review

Being the first song to hit the market, the objectionable lyrics still manages to evoke guilty pleasure. Offensive words and sexual innuendos are never acceptable to me but Shruti Pathak, Mamta Sharma and Mika Singh are clearly having so much fun in the song that it is hard for anyone to not groove to this ecstatic dance number.

Chingam Chabake – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! Music Review

The desi song is another immensely satisfying and entertaining song. Witty and pleasurably created, Shankar Mahadevan and Shalmali Kholgade add soul to every line of the song. The desi beats are so neatly frame that it vividly evokes stimulating music which will unfailingly charge you up.

Dhat Teri Ki – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! Music Review

The song is a fantastic retro club number that flaunts cussing with pride. New voices of Aditi Singh Sharma and Sanam Puri is so appealing that it isn’t hard to fall for this one. However, the lyrics could have been penned more aptly. To have fun is not equal to hurling abuses. Seems like lyricists don’t understand the inherent differences between them.

Dil Duffer – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! Music Review

This one is charming love ode. In the complimentary voices of Nitesh Kadam and Shruthi Pathak, the song is breezy and beautiful. Having a credible lingering quality as its forte, the song is both casual and impactful at the same time. For me personally, this was the album’s best track.

Naina – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! Music Review

Kamal Khan and Neeti Mohan’s musical chemistry is stellar and impeccable. They delve magic into this track which clearly ranks one of recent times’ best composition. Mingling the flavor of dhol and aroma of sufi-ness, the track is a product of musical intelligence and is bewitching.

Moto Ghotalo – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! Music Review

Sukhwinder Singh renders adorablish charm to these cutesy Gujarati lyrics. Typically folksy, this song isn’t immaculate but is winsome in the first listen itself.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein Mash Up Song – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! Music Review

Kiran Kamath’s mash up work has been downhill for a long time now. The film’s mash up is horridly disappointing. It takes some caliber to botch up the mash up of an album so wonderful in texture and Kamath who hasn’t been in best form lately has been doing just that.

The Last Word – Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! Music Review

There are many flaws in the album. But in the end Vishal And Shekhar have struck the right chord with this album. The songs are enjoyable, delightful and breezy. Comprising mostly of chartbuster songs, this is one wonderfully etched entertaining album after a long time. Go get delighted with its music. I am going with 3.5/5 for GTPM. It will be rocking every discotheque this month!
